First of all...WELCOME to Revisual.io!

We are pleased you chose our app and assure you of our best service at all times.

Just use the chat on our website. You always have the option to speak with a person.

Let's integrate your Google Calendar (GCal) data with Revisual.

After you sign in to Revisual...

Step 1: In your Dashboard, click on Integrate with Google Calendar. Revisual will take you to the Google Calendar (GCal) Integration setup page.

NOTE: This is a one-time task. After you set up the Google Calendar Integration, this task will be checked off as completed.

Step 2: Your Integrations page will open.

Click on Start integration.

Step 3: Click on the relevant Scopes [ Calendar API, Events Attachments (optional), Places (optional) ]. Public profile is already checked as it is required. For more about Scopes, jump to this article.

Step 4: Click on the button Sign in with Google.

Step 5: You will be directed to choose your Google account.

Step 6: You will be directed to sign in to Revisual

Step 7: In this step, you confirm the permissions you are giving Revisual.

Notes

(1) Some permissions are automatically checked since these are critical (3 grey checked boxes in image above).

(2) It would be natural to be nervous about giving an app access to ALL your Google Drive files. This is why Google verifies every app that uses Google Drive and Calendar services.

Submitting the app we must describe the usage of the restricted services and then after app submission, there is a manual verification by Google employee.

Step 8: Allow Revisual to access your Google calendars. You can modify this in the next step.

Step 9: Choose the Google Calendars which Revisual has access to.

You can change this at any time to include or remove calendars:

Integrations page --> 3-dot More menu --> Edit:

Step 10:

10.1 You will get a confirmation email. Make sure to check all your folders -- sometimes important things end up in Spam!

10.2 Your Integrations page will now look like this:

  • Syncing as: The account you chose in Google.

  • Last sync: This last time your Google data was synced with Revisual.

  • Auto-sync: When toggled on, Revisual will resync your data automatically at the times in your plan. You can manually resync at any time by clicking the Resync button (top, right-hand side of the screen).

  • Resync button: The preferred way to manually resync at any time.

  • 3-dot More menu: Edit , Full Resync (caution), and Delete.

Step 11: This task has been checked off as completed.

Congratulations! Now you are ready to begin adding calendars and event alerts and customizing them with your branding.
