Every published calendar has a QR code. Put it on posters, flyers, menus or social posts, and people can open your events on their phone. Visitors to your website can get it too, from the calendar's Share button.
Download the QR code
Step 1: Open your calendar's Install tab and expand QR code. If you don't see it, publish your calendar first. See How to publish your calendar and add it to your website.
Step 2: Click Download QR Code.
Let visitors get the QR code
On the Design tab, open Sharing and, under Share calendar button, turn on Show share button.
A Share button then appears in the calendar's header. When visitors click it, they get the QR code, buttons to share on Facebook and X, and the calendar's link with a Copy button.
The QR code shows in this window by default. To hide it, turn off Show QR code under Sharing › QR Code. You can also set the QR code's background, foreground and border colours there.
Where the QR code leads
The QR code opens your calendar's sharable link, a page hosted by Revisual. To send people to the page on your website where the calendar is, turn on link redirection. Codes you've already printed follow the change. See How to send your calendar link and QR code to your website.
The code stays the same when you edit or republish your calendar, so you can print it once and keep using it. Keep the calendar published: while it's unpublished, the QR code opens a 404! Calendar not found page.
Tips for printing
Print it at least 2 cm (about 1 inch) wide.
Keep it dark on a light background, with some white space around it.
Scan it with your phone before you print a batch.
