Revisual builds each event on your website from the event in Google Calendar. You don't enter anything twice: fill in the event in Google Calendar, and Revisual shows it after the next sync.

Title
Keep it short and clear: it's the first thing visitors read, often on a small card or a phone. Put the most important words first, for example "Yoga for beginners" rather than "Tuesday evening session: yoga for beginners".
Date and time
Set when the event starts and ends. For an event without a set time, tick All day. Revisual shows it without a time.
Recurring events
For an event that repeats, open the Does not repeat menu and choose how often, or Custom for your own pattern. Google's guide: Create a recurring event.
On your website, the event details can list the next dates in the series. Turn on Show recurrence series on the widget's Design tab, under Events.
You can also:
mark recurring events with a badge. See How to mark recurring events with a badge.
show a repeating event once instead of on every date, with Merge recurring events on the Setup tab. See How to show a recurring event only once.
Location
Type an address, a venue name or a link to an online meeting. When you type an address, pick the matching place from Google's suggestions, so the address is complete and the map opens the right place.
On your website, the event details show the address with a Show on map button.
Calendar and event colour
The calendar you put the event in decides where it can show: you can filter widgets by calendar. See How to organise Google Calendar for the events on your website.
Each calendar has a colour, and you can also give one event its own colour. Revisual can use these colours on your website. See How to use your calendar colors on your website.
Description
Write what visitors need to know: what happens, who it's for, the price and how to book.
Videos: a YouTube or Vimeo link becomes a video player. To show plain links instead, turn off Turn video links into preview on the Design tab, under Events › Details enhancement.
Call-to-action button: the first or the last link in the description can become a button, such as Book your seat. Choose which in the call-to-action settings on the Design tab.
The button's link still appears in the description too. To show it only as the button, turn on Hide description links matching the CTA button on the Design tab, under Events › Details enhancement.
Tip: if the description has a video link and a booking link, put the booking link where the button takes it from. In the example above, the button uses the last link, so the booking link goes after the video link. If the button used the first link, the video link would become the button.
Attachment (cover image)
The first image attached to the event becomes its cover image. For the best result:
use a 16:9 image, for example 1600 × 900 pixels
keep the file small, so the page loads fast on phones. A free tool like TinyPNG helps.
use JPEG or PNG
The image has to be in a Google Drive folder that Revisual can read. See How to add images to Google Calendar events from Google Drive.
