How to mark recurring events with a badge

Show a Recurring badge or icon on events that repeat in your calendar, choose where it sits and set its colours on the Design tab.

Written by Piotr Poźniak

A Recurring badge tells visitors that an event happens again, for example a weekly class. Revisual adds it to every event that repeats in your calendar. You don't need to set anything up in your calendar.

Turn on the recurring badge

On the widget's Design tab, open Badges. Under Recurring Events:

  • Show badge puts the badge on the event in your calendar.

  • Show badge in event details puts it in the event's pop-up or expanded details.

Click Save.

Choose where the badge sits

On the Cards templates, Badges location at the top of Badges sets where badges sit on the card. It applies to the Featured badge too.

Change the badge colours

Once a badge is on, Recurring event background and Recurring event label appear. Choose Custom to pick your own colours. See Custom color picker.

Using the Detailed list template?

Detailed list marks recurring events with a repeat icon next to the date instead of a badge. Turn it on or off with Show recurring event icon, and change its colour with Event repeat icon. Show badge in event details works the same as in other templates.
