Revisual uses the first image attached to an Outlook or Microsoft 365 calendar event as the event's cover image on your website. You attach it in Outlook. There's nothing to share and no folder to set up.
Before you start: your Outlook connection in Revisual needs Events Attachments (optional) turned on. You choose it when you connect. See How to connect your Outlook or Microsoft 365 calendar to your website.
Step 1: Attach the image
Open the event in Outlook. Click the paperclip (Attach) and choose Browse this computer. Pick the image and click Save.
The image appears as an attachment at the top of the event's description.
Attach it, don't paste it. An image pasted or inserted into the description text isn't used as the cover image. In the example above, the attached push-up photo becomes the cover image, and the gym photo inside the text doesn't.
Recurring event? To give every date the same image, open the event and choose Edit series before you attach it. Attaching it to one date adds it to that date only.
Step 2: See it on your website
The image appears after the next sync. To see it straight away, click Resync on your Outlook connection in Integrations.
Tips for a good cover image
Use a 16:9 image, for example 1600 × 900 pixels.
Keep the file small, so the page loads fast on phones. A free tool like TinyPNG helps.
Use JPEG or PNG.
If an event has several attachments, Revisual uses the first image.
Image not showing?
Is it attached? Check the image shows as an attachment at the top of the description, not inside the text.
Is Events Attachments on? If you didn't tick it when you connected, reconnect Outlook with it ticked.
Has it synced? Click Resync on your Outlook connection. See How syncing works.
